Utter stillness. Perfection—this moonlit, misty night. Cloaking the cool, damp air is the sensuous and delicate scent of honeysuckle.
Tears still delicately glean upon the leaves.
~~Breathe~~
His love is deep—so infinitely flawless and such a mysterious reality.
As I tread upon the soaken earth, the dew tremors a little at the slight wind created by my step. The moon makes her appearance now; peeking out from a lacy cloud; wanting to contribute her silver rays to the beauty of this night.
~~Sigh~~
My world has been crushed—giant hands seizing my heart—writhing from it everything dear. “Does it please You to torture the ones You love with this cruelly denied hope?” My hand clenches into a fist—desperately seeking to beat them against His chest.
~~Peace~~
Gentle air brushes past. A luminescent butterfly flitters—all shimmering white in the moonlight. Removing my sandals, I gently place one foot into the fresh, stimulating, moist grass.
~~Tears~~
Oh Jesus. I love You more than life itself. Be it pain, hurt or devastation—wild, blind love for You makes every sacrifice worth even an ounce of pleasure upon Your face. Broken is my heart. Be it broken for You.
~My sacrifice~
Jesus
I’m Yours
